Behavior Consultations
If your horse is exhibiting behaviors that worry you or have the potential to be dangerous, a consultation can help determine the "why". We will create a plan to modify your horse's behavior and change its environment to help prevent future occurrences. Some unwanted behaviors can be reduced after one consultation. In other cases, long-term support and regular meetings are better suited to see permanent behavioral change in your equine. I recommend a recent a recent veterinary visit before scheduling a consultation.
Consultations can be done virtually if you have a strong internet or cellular connection at your equine's facility and a smartphone device.
Initial consults are $200. Multiple consultations and long-term support are available packaged at a reduced rate.

Support for Veterinarians
Many unwanted behaviors have their origins in pain, so I consider working with professionals such as veterinarians, physiotherapists, body workers, and saddle fitters, to be an essential component of any behavioral treatment plan. Additionally, many equines struggle with routine care that can make appointments stressful or dangerous. I offer services to aid your clients in retraining their equines to better tolerate necessary care such as injections or hoof trims. I have a referral form available on my page If you feel one of your clients and their equines might benefit from a behavior consult. If you would like to learn more, please feel free to contact me for a no-obligation chat.
Education
Free-roaming, feral, and wild horses offer us a building block on which to interpret behaviors of domestic horses and improve their management. I offer a variety of courses (both free and paid) that will provide you an in depth look at how wild horses live and give you ideas on how to use this knowledge to improve human-horse interactions and maximize their quality of care. I am passionate about bringing this knowledge back to equine veterinary practitioners, equine trainers, owners, and the general public.
Most on-demand courses are $25 USD, but some recorded webinars are free.
If you're an institution, educator, or another organization focusing on public knowledge, please reach out to me about speaking at your venue. I visit feral horse herds throughout the year, filming observations of wild horse behavior to compare and contrast with book publications and scientific journals.
